Int3rnational license 'n' Tenji Solaris Mont Kiara

I must say Putrajaya and I have this kind-of love-hate relationship. Love the landscapes and Alamanda, hate the bureaucracy.
Antara agenda yang perlu di setelkan before going abroad again this time adelah meng-apply International License for En Muddy. Although he can use it only till he get his Civil ID, takpela, buat jer dh alang alang tu kan. Who knows it may come handy during emergency later on. So we decided to go to HQ JPJ @ Putrajaya.
Aku tersangat pelik dgn system kat Mesia ni. Maybe i am just plain ignorant sebab tak check dulu beforehand or aku just tidak paham dgn sistem kerajaan but aren't Head Quarters suppose to have all services compared to branches hence it was called HEAD QUARTERS? No ?
To say the lease, most services if not all, should be offered @ HQ, am i right? Dah dua kali this similar incident happened to me. 1st time dulu, masa nak buat passport Alis and we went to HQ Immigration @ Putrajaya also and was told that HQ tak de svc buat passport. On more serious note, not only us yang shared same thought that HQ supposed to have at least most services compared to branches coz we met En Muddy's colleague also there yang mengalami nasib yang sama and shared same thought with us. Sighhh !!
This time, with JPJ was even worst. At least Immigration ade parking basement. For those who doesn't know, JPJ HQ office was located far behind all the buildings while the visitors parking was basically located just by the main road. Of course there's a parking nearby but the Security Officer doesn't allow us to go in as he said it was allocated for staff only. Given no choice, we just parked at designated parking area provided and have to walk about 400-500 meter to the JPJ building.
Maybe some of u will say, alaaaaaaa 400 meter jeeerr kotttt... Try la walk with 2 kids under burning hot 11am sun and Erin walk at a very slow pace... very very slow...aiyahhhh...To make things more interesting, the road was slightly mendaki..400 meters started felt like 4 km I tell you !
Upon reaching the JPJ entrance, lege nye tuhan aje yg tau. Mainly because the office was air-conditioned. We straight headed to Information Counter and informed the personnel on duty that we need to apply International License.
The next 4 words came out from the officer's mouth felt like a slap to my face. HQ TAK BUAT IDL ( International Driving Licence).. Niceeeeeeee...Super niceee... Still composed polite manners despite frustration yang dh terpancar dekat muka plus peluh yang dh macam air terjun Kota Tinggi, my husband asked him where can we do IDL and was told that we have to go to either Permaisuri, Kajang Seksyen 7 or Petaling Jaya branch. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...the rest was history. We picked the nearest one of course.. Kajang Seksyen 7 !.. I just dun get it ! Seriously !!
-penat woooo kene jln tgh panas pehtu patah blk pulak..sian Mek Erin -
- adik tido so i just stay in the car, Alis merajuk sbb x dapat ikut Papa , muncung skit lg nak sama panjang dgn 400 meter hahaha -
- bile di pujuk, makin merajuk, aduyaiiii kamu ni -
Untuk memujuk hati yang lara, I asked her to show her tongue talent. It's in her genes, inherited from me that she can twisted tongue. Finally something she got from me.. definitely not her father.. bapak de lidah bangku.. kah kah kah...
-mula mula malu malu -
-bile battery dh charge, tu diaaaaa...mcm mcm aksi de buat tapi i was not fast enough to capture the pic since I was holding Erin's on another hand -
Ade hikmah nye En Muddy nak buat license ni sebab tanpa kesedaran dan di luar kewarasan diri, I was driving with expired license since February. Hahahahahahhahaha tak perasan sungguh, lillah hi taala.. Lucky En Muddy tergerak nak check. So terus renew 3 tahun. Harap harap lepas balik Q8 nanti, ingat lah lagi camne cara nk bawak kete.. I will definitely wont be driving in Q8. Not approved by En Muddy is one thing and I must say, I have no intention to do so even if he permit based from his stories about drivers in Gulf Country. Kena hati kering nak drive kat sana. Q8 road and drivers definitely not tailored for me.. Ai hati basah sentimentol..hahahha...

Agenda pertama dh selesai, menuju la kami ke agenda kedua En Muddy. Sushi haunting. Sape sape sushi lover yang kene transfer ke middle east country, sila lah makan puas puas smpi muntah. Sana sushi mahal ya rabbi.. I'm not a sushi lover but I still can take tempura or fried stuff. Somemore, Tenji do offers western-like food so I guess i'll survive hahahha.. Credit to mancet
coz "MMS" me the address. Aku SMS suh de tlg carikkan address Solaris, dgn kreatif nye de anta snap shot google search kah kah kah... Trima kasey daun keladi chet !
It's quite easy to find Solaris provided you have driver like mine. But if given a driver like me, mungkin sampai Subuh tak jumpa ahahhaaa...not much signage though. Just follow Mont Kiara arrow and you should be able to find it. Else, get urself a GPS.
Overall, Tenji was okay for sushi lover. Okay, not that impressive. Oyster was fresh. Not as big as we imagining before coming in as I've once read in food blog that oysters offered here was as big as adult's palm. Myth busted !
There's section for western also like grilled stuff, pizza, spaghetti and pasta so non-sushi lover still have other options. Ice cream was from Baskin Robbins but sadly they only have 3-4 flavors only. The ambiance was okay but a bit hot inside I caught few tables requesting portable cooling tower fan. Adult was charged RM 77 per head while kids were charge based on their height. Erin was free in our case and only Alis was charge RM 20. We dun stay longer though, say about 2 hours or so. As i said the spread was not that impressive to me and En Muddy. Others may felt differently so it is still worth a try.
- alis and her sushis.. it's quite dark in the restaurant plus pic was taken with built in camera phone :) -
- Erin anak mummy. Show no preference to sushi. She eat wat i eat. In this pic, prawn spring roll -
