Ramadhan almost reaching it's end. Beside fasting, zakat fitrah is another form of ibadah we need to settle within this month. Last year due to lack of knowledge and us being unfamiliar with this area and zakat system, En Muddy requested my father to pay our zakat on our behalf. This year, alhamdullillah we were able to pay ours here in q8.

Unlike Mys where we commonly pay zakat in the form of cash money, in here they didn't accept money. You need to pay using rice instead, the same rice that you used to eat daily. Tak aci ehh kalau makan beras cap mahal tapi bayar zakat guna beras cap murah. It should be the same one. 3 kg per head .

Just send your portion of zakat at the zakat house. There's no akad involved here anyway, just drop it and that's pretty much all about it.
