Salam everyone.. Hope all is well..

We were invited by lovely couple, Seri & Khairul to a birthday party of Yazid who turned 5 recently, held at their home sweet home. The theme is Jack and the Neverland Pirate or black & red. Few days prior to the party we've been searching high and low for pirate costumes or pirate accessories but to no avail. Selalu macam ni lah kan, kalau tak carik, bersepah sepah depan mata. The moment kita carik, mesti tak jumpa... *rolled eyes*. With the help of a friend, Ina, she suggested us to look at H&M and so we did, and thank god, finally we found the costumes, indeed a very last minute found.

:: Two vain pirates ::

:: Before leaving home.. A duo of happy pirates ::

:: Upon reaching Seri's resident. A couple of moody pirates we have here. If you must know, ni lah rupa pirate baru bangun tido, Pirate Lemau nama nyer! kah kah kah ::

We reached slightly late because I had Arabic Class till 11 am so we kinda missed the cake cutting ceremony.

:: Presenting the ever so cheeky 5 years old Yazid, pirate of the day. He looked like some panglima melayu though in this picture hehe ::

:: Pirate-theme red velvet cake. Yummmsss ::

:: Treasure table. Siap ade 999 gold plate lagi.. Don't play play. Seri really went all out with the pirate decor I must say. I can tell that she paid utter attention to even small details and planned the party passionately. Kudos to Seri and Khairul and just by looking at Yazid's wide smile, it's definitely worth every sweats and headaches ::

:: The lovely and sempoi host ::

The food spread is lovely and filling. They have laksa, Nasi Tomato, Mee Bandung, assorted of cakes, doughnuts, fruits, muffins and many more. What's there not to love?

:: Photo booth station. My utmost favorite place :). So cool eh? Seri did all of this by herself. She even learned how to make sword balloons via Utube. Goshhh her thoughts and creativity totally deserved some credits. Looking at all of these, I can't help but felt like a bad lazy mummy hahahah ::

:: Buckets of utubed-swords ::

:: She even prepared PINATA !!!!!. Not one but TWO ! ::

Besides pinata, they also prepared Musical Chair for the kids. Nice food, fun party and very relaxing party, great crowd, we definitely had so much fun.

:: Ina, Lisa and me. After dressing up the kids only I realised I didn't really have any red outfit for myself. How irony is that? I was sleepless for few nights thinking about my girls's costumes but forgot about my own all along. That's what motherhood is all about. You tend to put priority to your kids. Mummy can always wear last year clothes but kids's one need to be new and crisp. I ended up wearing all black as if I'm going for some funeral duuuhhhhhh. Even my tudung was actually maroon instead of red, but heyyyyy.. at least my shoes is red :) ::

:: With Kak Sham ::

:: Seri, Azie, and Zaza. A bunch of cheerful peoples that will makes any party alive ::

:: Pirates of the Mangaf :) ::

We definitely had a blast so to the host ( Seri+Khairul).. Thanks a bunch for having us. May Yazid grows a healthy, fine and righteous caliph, Insya Allah.

Last but not least,
