Winter Picnic Part 2
7:25 PMSome selingan as a reminder to myself and whoever happened to stumbled this space..
True happiness consists not in multitude of friends, but in their worth and value. You can have 30 friends but none whom you can hang on to when you sink and hit rock bottom, and you can have 2 friends whom know you inside out, understands you when you say nothing at all and will stand by your side side even if you're the one at fault, and corrects you later on.
So, pick wisely. Don't be afraid to get rid of negative people in your life. Surround yourself with positive one who believe in you, takes you as what you are and inspire you. Most importantly, be with people who'll lead you closer to the path of Jannah, not stray away of it.
"A loving person lives in a loving world. A hostile person lives in a hostile world: everyone you meet is your mirror."
Ken Keyes, Jr., personal growth leader As simple as that!
Enough with the pep talk , let's move on to more lighter yet fun-ner topic.
We received a Picnic Invitation from Yasmin and her husband Mas, last week. The event was called picnic rather than BBQ simple because the venue where the picnic took place doesn't allowed any "pembakaran terbuka" since it is practically a public park, with playgrounds and grassy area so to speak. So everyone will bring potluck from home while the host will prepared Nasi Lemak and brownies. I brought Meehun Goreng Singapore, a bag of chips, 2 containers of keropok goreng and hot tea.
Owhh anyway, before I proceed, it will be only proper to inform that all gorgeous pictures in this post was taken from Zaza's collection unless stated otherwise because I forgot to bring my camera during that day.
It was clear sunshiny day, weather was perfect, the crowd was superb, the vibes and energy was great. Truth be told, I'm into all that picnic-y stuff - the mat, picnic basket, checkered rug, relaxing while sipping lemonade. I'm kind of old an romantic. Sadly, we don't have any of the above but the idea of having picnic is more than enough.
However, the only lacking I could find was there's no toilet anywhere nearby in the park. The nearest one located almost 20 minutes by walking so it quite a hassle plus the weather was quite cold so people tend to drinks more hot water and what happen when more liquid goes in, you'll need to frequent toilet more than ever ehehehe. Small flaw to an otherwise perfect day.

We had a lot of babies and young kids that day it will only be wise to bring tents for their napping purposes. Plus this tents also acted as private breastfeeding hub if you know what I meant heheh :)
