Eversince I arrived in Q8 last May, this is my first timer going out without my husband's company. The fact that me myself totally surprised by it. It is soooo not me.

As for my current position, Stay At Home Mum, I strongly believe that I'm doing okay being a Mum but not on the Stay At Home part. My life before this was always on the go. I always find myself on the road, running errands, settling things, going to my mum's and so on. I can't recalled any days passed by without me going out, at least to the mini market. Therefore, life in Q8 in particular, doesn't really suits me and my soul in terms of I had to stay home all the time. Apart from the reason which I wasn't really gotten consent to go out by myself from husband due to security reason ( chehhh feeling Paris Hilton neh ), me myself - as surprised as it can be, doesn't have courage and will to do so since I'm not very familiar yet with the area plus not all taxi driver knows way around here hence at times we still need to guide them and show them the way which I'm famously suck at it hahahha. I can find my way home with no much issue back home but here, with the language barrier I didn't dare to try my luck. So yeah, 1st few months here, I found myself in depression. I am depressed and I think my skin and heels depressed too ( due to changes of season and weather). They've been in the worst condition through out my 31 years of life by far so yeah, I am THAT depressed though I didn't show it.

When I got message from Kak Lina inviting me to join their Breakfast session at Al-Kout, I just couldn't say no. I really wanted to go but my girls are not well this weeks. I was under this 60-40 ratio by 60 % not going and the other 40 % on yes, can join. Although my husband kinda encourage me to join, I've decided to see how the girls doing that particular morning. Should their health not improving, I would just cancel then. However, luck was on our side as they showed remarkable improvement, being active and back to their own self that morning so I decided to join. The plan was, since the meeting point was just nearby my house so should they become cranky beyond control, I'd just excuse myself and go home.

Only Allah knows how super psyched myself that morning knowing that I can actually going out that day hahaha. As a preventive action, I gave the girls their medication prior to our appointment so I dun have to bring their medication with me. Since most of the clan need to reach home latest by 2, ( as their kids will reach home from school by that time), it will be just nice for Alis and Erin's next medication session. Dgn lafaz bismillah hirrahmanirrahim... perjalanan di mulakan dgn langkah kanan..

Reach Sultan Centre with Ayu and Lina as we shared cab. Roaming and wandering around 15 minutes before the whole clan arrived so we make a move to Casa Havana. Since it was just 9 am, we had the whole restaurant by ourselves. No other customer means there's no need to behave.

With sky as the limit, we laugh out loud, talk nonsense and rubbish, makes jokes, catching up on each other and just had fun. It was truly bliss experience spending time with group of people that shared same wavelength with me and accepted me for who and what I am. It is clear that I'm the only mommy with kids that day so my girls was pretty much get spoiled by the all the aunties. As for what we had for breakfast, Kak Lina and Siti ordered Steak breakfast set, Yan with Asaparagus cream soup and Havan Club Sandwich, Ayu with Havana Club, Lina with shrimp salad and I ordered spaghetti bolognese for the girls and Buffalo Wings for me.

All in all, in my personal opinion, the food's wasn't that tasty and just average compared to their above average price tag. I had better and tastier same stuff with much lower price. The conversation was more fun the food itself. Should have pick Paul instead.

Once we all done with our breakie, we make a move to Al-Kout Mall for some retail therapy session. Suffice to say, we left our footprints if not our dinars in almost all shops in there. I had so much fun as the experience shopping with ladies with same passion truly vary from shopping with your husband. Not to say my husband only, but almost all husbands in the world. I guess it's embedded in their XX nature that shopping was never a fun thing to do. We gave opinions on each other should anyone of us buying or trying, we helped picked up what looks nice to our eyes and we've waited for each other outside fitting room without complaints. My girls are even more spoiled as all the aunties practically became their personal shoppers as they kept proposing nice blouse or shorts or pants for them I had really hard time to pick the best. I just dun see any reason why we shouldn't organize the same activities any time soon.

I bought 3rd quarter legging with very cool printed shirt for Alis and stripy shirt match with tiered skirt for Erin. Both from NEXT. Tak dapat nk matchy matchy since it's sales time so most of the size are sold out. We had to make do with what sizes left. I got myself a grey skinny pants and dark blue floral cotton blouse at a steal price, both from Kotton Al-Manshar.

Yan and Kak Lina wanted to get a foundation and lipstick from Kryolan hence all of us had a chance of playing around with their almost 3 feet wide tester counter. There's so much stuffs and colours to try on from eyeshadow, blushers, lipstick, concealer and foundations. Suddenly we all are like a bunch of little girls in candy shop. Everything look appetizing and tempting. Alis and Erin having good time too cause for once, mummy won't get mad when they messed around with eyeshadow and blusher. Why would I get mad? There's reason why all the stuffs was named tester, simply because it's for test purpose. All the stuffs was not mine to begin with and me myself having hard time controlling the urge of putting all those pretty colours on my face. So girls.. go ahead and do what you want to do heheh..

Make over session done around 1 plus and this is where we bid farewell, hug and kiss each others's cheek and promise that this won't be the last time we get together like this. While the rest going home, me and Lina headed to Centre Point since Lina still had some shopping to do. We left not long after that and reach home around 3 pm in the afternoon.

Alhamdullilah for rezeki given by Allah that I had chance to buy some good clothes and food for us.

Alhamdullilah for the health and strength given by Allah so that I can take care of my family the best I can.

Alhamdullilah for the air that I breath so that I still can enjoy His creation, feel extremely small, humble and blessed for the opportunity.

Alhamdullilah.........
