Services in Q8 which I found C.O.O.L
3:04 AMThere'd always be vice and versa no matter where you're living at due to different places comes with different cultures, different peoples whose lead to a different way of life. It's part and parcel that comes when you're staying abroad. Even though, Q8 was a very rich country, if putting facilities and modernization value into comparison with KL, Q8's was far cry, left behind KL in so many aspects. There's likes and dislikes which will need more than one post if I were to rambling all about it. So I would like to share about my most 2 favourite services in Q8 ( which I think can't be found in Malaysia)
This website was mainly served as a hub for all food chains available in Q8 that offered delivery service. Errr it is safe to say that you can find almost all fast food/beriyanis/western that exist in Q8, registered in this link as it is very hard to find shops that doesn't offer delivery. Not necessarily food business only I may say, because even mini market or fruits shop or laundry shop and many many more shops do have delivery services. To add more to this awesome service, some shops doesn't charge for delivery service. Super nice ! Owh I even witnessed my next door neighbour got his ONLY single carton consist of a dozen of eggs delivered to his home and the mini market was located at building next to ours. Not even 1 minutes walking distance. If lazybum was not involved in this case, he must have been very very busy man.
Back to 6alabat, basically all we need to do was register ourself in their website, no such thing as annual fee or service fee. It's all free. Once you registered, you can start order what you desire. Just key-in type of food you want in their order form and your location from the pull down button. Once you're done with your order, just check out and based on my experience, almost immediately, the shops will call your mobile and confirm your order. There's no extra charges except for normal delivery charges unless stated otherwise. Which means 6alabat will not charge consumers any extra charges for using their services. Well maybe the charge goes under advertisement fee I wouldn't know or sure. Your food will reach your door step in said time. Anyway, in any occasion the despatch unable or having difficulties to track your place, they will call or get the shops to call. As easy as ABC. You can also call the restaurant directly and order your food. The cost involved will still be the same either you order from 6alabat or directly to the shops. The only tiny-weeny difference was you can save up your prepaid money when using 6alabat since you're ordering via online and they'll be the one calling you back. It's another alternative which suitable for customers who's always suffering from frequent no-prepaid syndrome like me muahahahahaha.
:: JUST ASK ::
This service was recently discovered by my husband recently and I also read it here. Honestly, when I read it first hand in 248am.com, I wasn't paying much attention. Then my husband came home one day and told me the story about his Indonesian friend whom kinda wishing to buy American Optical eye wear for him but unfortunately, this sunglass or rather this brand was not available in Q8. For info, this eye wear was mainly and widely used by American military pilot and law enforcement officers.

Since we haven't plan to go back to Malaysia just yet, we couldn't really check this AO sunglasses for him. Recently, during ourEidul Fitri's makan makan session, En Muddy noticed that that Indonesian friend of his wore AO sunglass and so the story of JUST ASK begin.
Basically Just Ask was a service rendered by Sultan Centre to help their customers to get any items that is just not available in Q8. They will help you order, settled the custom issue like clearance should the items we ordered need any, and then once arrived Q8, we can come and collect it from Sultan Centre store of our pick or even better, they can send it to our house without any additional charges. How freaky cool and awesome is that ??? If you dun find this service jaw-droppingly cool, go get your awesome nerves check cause there should be something wrong somewhere.
Anyway, for your convinience, I'm copy pasting the FAQ session from their website wich I think can explained abour this service better than I do. I hope I am not doing any illegal thing by copying this FAQ session. I've credited their link anyway and it's like free promo for nice stuff they had ( like my blog visitor are THAT many to begin with, for them to thanking me for promoting their services hahahaha. Well, as old saying goes " the thought that counts" )
