|ALIS the Beauty Conscious|

Alis had 2 type of uniforms. One was collared T shirt with skirts and another one was T shirt with track suit. Just in case ari hujan, i'll ask her to wear track suit then so tidak la sejuk sangat kan dekat kelas. She was also "ustazah" kindof girl hahaha. She doesn't like revealing dress, bareback type, spaghetti strap.. She would cried and making scene if I forced her to wear something that for her was toooo revealing or sexy for her liking duhhh ! She would say Kakak tak nak la mummy... Baju tu seksi...huwaaa.. huwaaa... xnakkk..

Well, Alhamdullilah she had this awareness to cover her aurat since small but ohh come onnn...She was only 4 for god sake... And iIwas just plain rimas if she's sweating herself out and yes she did sweat a lot u know...comot lah !!!

Nonetheless lately, the table turned as she refused to wear the long pants. Well not all long pants. Just her school track bottom. It's easier to feed the tiger than to make her wear those shouting red smart reader track bottom and I just dunno why. At 1st I thought, maybe she was having mood swing. I meant, U know one of those days when everything went wrong, bad hair day so I just let it go away. Then second attempt failed. Then 3rd, fourth and so on and I really had enough reasoning with her.

So one day , on more casual tone I asked her :

Mummy : Alis, kenapa tak nak pakai sluar panjang ni. Alis kan suke sluar panjang...Cantik kan warna merahh..
Alis : Kakak tak suke sluar tuh...
Mummy : Kenapa pulak? penat mummy beli utk kakak, kakak tak nak pakai...
Alis : ( still refusing to reveal the truth).. Kakak tak suke la... Kakak suke skirt je...
Mummy : (Blood dh menggelegak) kenapa? Cuba cakap dgn mummy, kalau x suker jugak, mummy buang je la sluar tu, Tak pun mummy bg Riya ( our neighbour's daughter hahaha)
Alis : hmmmmmm... (making guilty + nk nangis faces )
Mummy : Cuba cakap kenapa?
Alis : (having deep thought) hmmm kakak tak suke la sebab kakak nampak gemukkkkkkkkkkkkk ( Demi Allah this is exactly her sentences)
Mummy : ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh owhhhhhhhhh ok ok. We sticked to skirt then...

Second scenario ( actually happened yesterday evening)

Alis : Mummy.... baju ape mummy pakai ni... Mummy cam nmpk kurus kurus jek ( again, takde ayat nasik tambah ek...that was her actual sentences)
Mummy : Hmmm baju mummy laa... kan selalu pakai. Mummy nmpk kurus ekk kakak? Mummy cantik tak? ( wahahahha wahaha )
Alis : A'ah , kurus jek... Kakak tembammm !!!
Mummy : Takpe...mummy pun tembam...kakak kan anak mummy, mesti la sama tembam macam mummy
Alis : (no answer but belek belek muka kat cermin....)

What should i do ?

perlukah aku siasat her school environment . She must hv gotten this idea of "this tracksuit making her look fat" from someone else correct ? Or did she's having a crush at school? hahahah I know that I will have to face this am-i-look-fat stuff sooner or later coz I had 2 girls u see but never i had in mind that it is going to be this soon...too soon... 4 years old ! I thought i had to deal with nak korek pencil princess or nak tshirt DORA instead of Barney kindof issue 1st before i should start worrying about pimples, PMS or do pink look great on me or green ?

Well,woman will always be a woman at the end of the day.....oh my
